What to expect on your first visit
On your first visit, we will ask you about your concerns and goals for your dental health. We will also take x-rays and make complete chartings of your teeth. An oral cancer screening will be performed as well a complete head and neck exam along with an assessment of your periodontal health. We will discuss the information gathered and give treatment options designed for you to reach your dental goals. Cost and timing of treatment will be tailored in order to fit within your schedule and budget. If your treatment requires another professional outside of our office, we will coordinate the referral for you and will continue to monitor your care.

For adults, the first visit will generally take an hour. A complete exam will be provided and a treatment plan will be designed according to your needs. In order to ensure that we schedule the appropriate appointment, tailored for you it might be necessary to schedule a time for your cleaning at a future appointment. For children, the first visit will include a complete examination, a cleaning, and fluoride treatment. This will also take about an hour.

Before your first visit, we can mail or fax you patient information forms or you can print them from the Patient Forms page on this website. This will allow you to complete the forms at your convenience and bring them to your first visit.
